A lack of trust can be harder to overcome than distance.
Jess Butler just wanted to dip her toe in the water. She didn't expect her one-night stand with her sister's best man, Ethan Knight, to develop into a steamy relationship or to meet a man who could crack the hardened exterior of her twice-broken heart. A one-night stand, turned holiday romance shouldn't have followed her home, but it did, and the excess baggage of their combined trust issues might just cost them more than either of them planned.
Join Jess as she learns to overcome a past of heartbreak and betrayal, and gives love and trust a second chance.
Best Sunset is the complete Jess Butler Trilogy in one compilation that will leave you swooning, crying, and fanning yourself from the intensity of Jess and Ethan's connection.
Best Man
The right man, at the wrong time.
Ten years ago Jess was the happiest she'd ever been. On the cusp of marrying her high school sweetheart, Jess's life was heading exactly where she wanted it to. Then in less than twenty-four hours, Jess's happiness was shattered by her twin Sharnie. With everything lost, running away was Jess's only way to cope.
After a decade of living abroad, it's Sharnie's turn to get married and their mother is pushing hard for her daughters to make amends. Jess wants to let the past go and when she meets Ethan, the best man, she starts to think coming home may just be possible. But there are some hurts you can never forgive and Sharnie has one last wound to inflict.
Best Layover
Distance makes the heart grow fonder
Back in Hawaii, Jess has accepted that returning home to Australia is out of the question. With the help of her best friend, Sean Cassidy, Jess starts setting down roots to make Oahu her permanent home, and supporting her boss while he suffers his own heartbreak. Not everything was lost leaving Australia this time.
The gorgeous pilot Jess fell for is calling her, making Jess hopeful that her sister hasn't stolen her last chance at happiness. When Ethan comes to visit, Jess's hopes soar. However, Jess isn't the only one whose heart is badly scarred by betrayal.
Can Ethan and Jess trust each other to make a long-distance relationship work, or will her friendship, and his reputation break them before they can even start? The timeline of this story interconnects with Holly's Trilogy in the Hotel Series and may contain some spoilers.
Best Knight
Rebuilding trust takes more than love.
The gorgeous pilot Jess fell for broke her heart. Giving up on love for good, Jess throws her all at her job, but she just can't find the interest to go back to her short-term holiday flings that once scratched her itch. That is until her rock-god Dylan surprises her with more than just a visit. But just when Dylan and Jess are making strides to overcome their past traumas, Jess gets a call that leaves her emotionally torn.
Dropping everything to go home, isn't a decision she even has to consider. But choosing her family and letting Ethan back into her life, may just destroy more than the spark of hope Dylan offered.
Can Ethan earn Jess's forgiveness and a second chance? Or will Dylan finally win his Muse's broken heart?
