The annual selection of Dutch books contained in a striking booklet. The award-winning books are presented in an adventurous colour scheme that, upon closer inspection, turns out to be the result of a thorough analysis. Designer Joost Grootens investigated the reputations of the publishers, designers and printers involved in the 33 Best Designed Books of 2012. He packaged the results of that research in the colour scheme of the book, which provides a special viewing experience. With jury reports in English and Dutch, technical data and numerous images. In Het Parool, Jan Pieter Ekker called this catalogue more beautiful than all the Best Designed Books of 2012.
