Das vorliegende Buch stellt Best-Practice-Beispiele aus dem ersten Arbeitsmarkt vor. Es entstand am Center for Disability and Integration der Universität St. Gallen (CDI-HSG). Inspiriert durch den „Com(mitment) To Act(ion)“-Wettbewerb werden verschiedenste Unternehmensbeispiele zentralen Handlungsfeldern des Personalmanagements zugeordnet. Hierdurch sollen Führungskräften und Personalverantwortlichen geeignete Konzepte an die Hand gegeben werden, um die Inklusion von Menschen mit Behinderung aktiv voran zu treiben.
Prof. Dr. Stephan A. Boehm ist Direktor des Center for Disability and Integration (CDI-HSG) und Assistenzprofessor an der Universität St. Gallen (HSG). Er studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität St. Gallen (Schweiz), der HEC Lausanne (Schweiz) sowie an der University of Stellenbosch Business School (Südafrika). Er promovierte im Bereich Führung und Personalmanagement an der Universität St. Gallen und war als Visiting Scholar am Oxford Institute of Ageing der University of Oxford (Großbritannien) tätig. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich des Diversity-Managements mit Schwerpunkten auf der beruflichen Inklusion von Menschen mit Behinderung, der gesundheitsorientierten Führung sowie dem erfolgreichen Management des demografischen Wandels. Berufliche Erfahrungen sammelte er u. a. bei Siemens, der Deutschen Telekom sowie bei Mercer Management Consulting. Als Berater und Dozent ist er regelmäßig für verschiedene internationale Unternehmen und Universitäten tätig.
Miriam K. Baumgärtner Diplom-Psychologin, ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Center for Disability and Integration (CDI-HSG) und Doktorandin im Programm Strategy and Management an der Universität St. Gallen. Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der Workplace Diversity, insbesondere der beruflichen (Re-)Inklusion von Menschen mit Behinderung, und im betrieblichen Gesundheitsmanagement. Sie studierte an den Universitäten Konstanz und Mannheim sowie an den amerikanischen Universitäten University of North Carolina und Western Carolina University. Sie war mehrere Jahre Mitarbeiterin bei gesis (Leibniz-Institut für Sozialwissenschaften) und arbeitete als Unternehmensberaterin im Bereich Mitarbeiterbefragungen und HR-Managementlösungen bei der Kenexa GmbH.
Dr. David J. G. Dwertmann forscht zurzeit als Visiting Fellow an der renommierten ILR School der Cornell University (USA) im Department for Human Resource Studies. Erstudierte Psychologie mit Nebenfach Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Mannheim (Deutschland). Zudem forschte er an der Universität Mannheim und der San Diego State University (USA) in den Bereichen Evaluation und Methodenlehre, sowie Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie. Praktische Erfahrung sammelte er bei der Kienbaum Management Consultants GmbH. Nach seinem Studium arbeitete er am Center for Disability and Integration (CDI-HSG) und promovierte im Bereich Strategy and Management an der Universität St. Gallen (Schweiz). Seine Forschungsinteressen beinhalten insbesondere die Themen Diversity, Organisationsklima, Organisationale Identität, HR Management und Führung.

If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
