Very Good minus as there is a scribble inside the cover on the first hard endpaper. Otherwise no unwanted marks. Securely bound with the great drawings throughout by the acclaimed co-creator of Casper the friendly Ghost! "Seymour Reit (1918-2001) was the author of over 80 children's books and one of the creators of the famous character Casper the Friendly Ghost. Reit started his career working as an animator, cartoonist, and humorist. According to his wife Edmee Reit, he created Casper because ìhe wanted to write something that was gentle and wouldn't scare children. He went on to write more than 80 books for young readers on subjects ranging from Balto the hero dog to the Confederate warship the Merrimack. Reit also wrote for Mad Magazine and Bank Street College where he led writing workshops.".
