About Bennett and Kerr Books
RARE & SCHOLARLY BOOKS - MEDIEVAL & RENASCENCE STUDIES. We specialise in antiquarian, rare and scholarly books on the Middle Ages and Renascence, and issue regular catalogues (including some books not yet on this website). We have over eight thousand volumes in stock in our rather unprepossessing warehouse, at the end of a farmyard, beyond the church, in the beautiful village of Steventon, south of Oxford. Visitors are welcome here - we are usually open 10-5.30 Mon-Fri and for a shorter time on Saturday, but we recommend telephoning first (01235 820604) to avoid disappointment. The nearest rail station is Didcot, and the X2 bus runs Oxford-Didcot via Abingdon and Steventon; we are 15 minutes' walk down The Causeway from the bus stop, if you're not held up at the railway crossing.
