Chapter One
MUSE-ZINGSCREATORS BEYOND BOUNDARIES
It is as if two bodies lie
beneath the spheres of
light
One on its back
One on its side
Each waiting
Each wanting
Each passionate
Creators together
Creators apart
One different from the
other
Yet the same
They are possibilities
They are the future
They are you and me
Creators of a new light
and life
Free and beyond any
boundaries
WRITING AT A FRIENDS
Plaid pads on tables of
glass
Candles Glowing—Wine
Glass Flowing
Cats purring softly on
padded chair
Friends Writing—Friends
Reciting
Music playing on
counter top
T.V. Humming—Music
Strumming
My mind wondering of
what to write
Looking Around—No
thoughts found
A HUG
Warm and sweet
Gentle and soft
A Hug—So good
A Hug—So nice
Makes me smile
Smiling hug
Loving hug
Hug—A—Bug
Hug my cat
Hug my dog
Hug—Hug
Sweet Hugs
I like hugs
I like to hug
Can I hug you?
YES YOU
Are you afraid of a
hug—A real hug?
Real hug
Fake hug
No hug—No hug
Too bad
Too sad
No hug
HUG—HUG
Give me a Hug!
Don't hold back—you
"Rotten Jack"
Gimme—Gimme
HUG
A HUG—A HUG
A BIG JUICY—HUG!
IN THE STILLNESS
In the stillness of the
night, I hear raindrops on
the pavement walk
In the quiet darkness of
my room, I hear the
angels talk
I feel the presence of the
room, and lie awake to
see
The light that shines in
darkness, with words of
love for me
SWEET KISSES
Sweet kisses in the dark
Sweet kisses in the night
Sweet kisses in the
morning
Sweet kisses in the light
Sweet kisses—kissing
Kissing me—kissing you
Lips pushed out in
pointed pucker
Tongue and lips a tasty
sucker
Teeth that bite in gentle
nips
Lips that taste the finger
tips
A kiss is tasting life so
great
Tasting life—a kiss of
fate
What is a kiss but
tasting the love of life
you're wasting
Kiss me quick before I
go and know the life that
I love so
Pucker up your lips so
sweet
And Kiss me—Kiss me
Soft and Neat
EYE BROWS
Eyebrows—My brows
Big bushy brows
Like the Scotsmen
Painted eyebrows
Why do women paint on
eyebrows?
Tattooed brows—won't
come off
Raised up on one side
My mothers eyebrows—
raised up
Pointed thoughts
Expressions of sadness
Sorrow—Delight—
Seduction
Beautiful full eyebrows
Auburn, blonde, black,
gray
Beautiful eyebrows
One line—Straight
Too short—too thin—too
much
No brows
Framing the eyes
Black and violet—some
eyes violet
Brows—curves—lines
Powder or pencil
Natural
What color brow?
Dog brows
Cat brows
Sad—Happy—Furrowed
BROWS—BROWS—
BROWS
Expressive Brows
THE OLD RIVER
The moss grows green on
the old river tree
And I sit here wondering
where I should be
And fuchsia hangs down
as drops hit the ground
From rain that questions if
it should pour,
While leaves keep
falling, that live no more
If I could take you any
place
I'd bring you here into this
space
Where life is so peaceful
and so calm
Like the swaying leaves
on the desert palm
SUNSET
The setting sun was a
clear, sharp vision
A glowing red—orange
ball,
Set neatly against a soft
blue sky
Colors, like those in an
Indian painting
Colors of the southwest
Sharp and clear cut was
the shape of the sun
No clouds softened its
shape
No clouds were there to
spread the brilliant orange
—red light across the sky
Sharp was the vision
Clear were the colors
As clear as my thoughts
of you
As clear as my feelings of
love
A WATCH
A watch could be
anything
Is it a watch that ticks or
a watch?
Like you watch
something—anything
Like a guard watch
A guard watches
prisoners
Or tick—tock watch
Which watch—watch
Angular watch
Red, Green, Blue,
Yellow—Angles
Watches in angles
I love watches
Time
Watches tell time
Do they or do they
just track inevitable,
untouchable time?
Time ticking away
Where is it going?
TIME—What is time?
A clock
A clock watch
Clock watch
Clock watch
Watch what?
A Watch—A Clock
Tick—Tock
Tick—Tick
Watch the clock tick
On and on
Ticking—Ticking
The clock
Ticking
The Ticking Clock Watch
YOU ARE
You are my night and my
day
My light and my dark
You are my sun and moon
and my stars that shine so
bright
You are the lightness in
all the shadows of my life
You give breath to my
body and lift my soul up
You are the being of love
in my heart
And
I am love—waiting for you
OH FOR A CLOSET
Oh, for a closet
Just one big closet
A space that I could walk into
and see my clothes
Hanging
Neatly
In order
A space—A space
A big space
A very big space
Room to dance
With shelves—racks
Bars—hangers—hangers—
bars
I see lots of hangers
Clothes neatly hanging
Shoes—lots of shoes
Shoe racks filled with
shoes
What shoes?
My shoes?
Whose clothes—my clothes?
What clothes?
No clothes—No shoes
No shelves
No racks
No bars
No space—No room to
dance
NO CLOSET
OH, FOR A CLOSET
WHILE IN MY BED I LIE
While in my bed I lie
Beside the one I love
Outside I hear the gentle
rain
That falls from skies
above
I hear the patter of it's
sound
Like the tapping of a drum
The droplets hitting
pavement walk
Tah-Rum Tah-Rum TahRum
The droplets splashing
on the watered walk
It speaks to me in gentle
talk
Sleep well tonight
Sleep well I say
For love awaits another
day
I pull love close to hold
you near
And not let go—my Love
so dear
We cuddle close while
raindrops fall
We hold each other love
and all
BLACK
God—for years I wore
black, when everyone else
was wearing colors
Now, everyone is wearing
black and I've started
integrating color into my
wardrobe
It's funny—Black—I loved
Black!
It was elegant—sleek
It fit with anything
It fit anytime—anywhere
I looked COOL—I looked
HOT
I looked SLEEK
I looked GOOD
High black boots
Black leather jacket with
up turned collar and
pushed up sleeves
Tight form fitting pants
that fit neatly into my
boots
Sexy, low cut black top
that skillfully and
tastefully displayed my
minimal cleavage
Lord—Black—It still
strikes me to this day—
chic!
What took them so long?
REMEMBER ME
Remember me—As
someone who cares
Remember me—As
someone who loved
And gave you their heart
Remember me—As
someone who laughed
And cried
And shared their life with
you
Remember me
Remember me
Remember me
Turn back your head
and see
For one moment
One last moment
The someone—that was
me
And remember
me—remember me
Give me a moment and
space in time
To live in your heart
Remember me
Remember me
Remember me
Remember me—that I
loved and shared
Remember me—that I
forgave
Let me live in your heart
Let me remain a
special love—There for
you—For others
Let me inspire you and
empower you
Let me lift your spirits up
And remind you of who
you are
For you are my heart
And through you, life will
beat on
Remember me
That I Was There
WATER JUG
Clay jug filled with water
Hard, strong, glazed
Spigot of plastic
Water drops dripping
Handles holding the Jug—
Jug—The Water Jug
Is the water clear?
No Water—Beer
Beer Jug
Beer Stein
A small beer stein
Like a water jug
Is far more dangerous
Drunken people
Drinking more
Empty bottle
No water—Empty jug
A JUG—A JUG
What do I say about a
jug?
Do you know what to
say about a jug?
JUG—JUG
GLUG—GLUG
Drink the water from the
jug
Your JUG is empty
LIGHT
Light
Bright light
White light
What is light?
Really?
An opening in space?
An opening in time?
No color
All color
Shades—Tones
What tone and shade?
What color—light?
Light
Oh, light that shines on
me
Light that shines on you
Light is better than dark
Thee light
Awaken the light
So bright
It wakes me up
To see the light
To see the light
Do you see the light?
Oh, what light!
Beautiful light—awaken
me!
Awaken you and you
and YOU!
Rise up to the light and
see
The possibility
In The Light
The light
I Love The
Bright—Bright—Light
HELP ME
Help me find your heart,
for I feel I have lost it
Help me find your soul,
for it is spread
Help me to hear your
voice and to see into who
you are
Help me to know your
fears and guide you to the
light
Give me that which is
truly you, that I might love
and understand the
"Being" of you
Give me your heart that I
so long for
And free me, that I may be
love for you,
Now and Forever.
LIFE IS
A voice speaks, but is not
heard
A tear flows, but it is not
seen
A hand touches, but it is
not felt
The mouth smiles, but
there is no joy
Time passes, but it is not
noticed
The old die, but they are
not missed
The young laugh, but they
are not happy
Life is, but it is not lived
Chapter Two
GET ITGET IT
Oh, what life would be.
If I lived for you and you
lived for me!
GET IT?
If I let you choreograph
my life,
Then my life is your
dance.
GET IT?
If I let you sing for me,
then the performance is
yours
If I let you speak for me,
my life is your voice!
If you walk for me, If you
breath for me,
If you become my eyes
and see for me,
My life would be yours....
And not mine!
GET IT!
To know my life, I must
"Be" it!
To let me live, you must
"See" it!
If you GET IT, then you
will LET IT.... BE!
THERE'S A PLACE
There is a place
Where people "Be"—
Together
People—Of all races
All types—All religions
And lifetime stages
All, walking together
Talking together
All "Being"—Together
All just "Being"
In this space
In this place
All sharing
Not caring
Who each other is
Or why
Just "Being"—THERE
In this place
In this space
Here—There
A place to share
Happy and safe
In this place
Children—together,
dancing, laughing, playing
People—together, walking
talking
Saying
Who they are
How they are
Happy and free
No Dissention
No Pretention
Just—Happy—to—"Be"
THE COURT THEATER
The leaves entwine the
lattice pole
And form a place where
flowers grow
High up above a fountain
top
Where down below the
waters drop
And orange fish swim
round and round
An old brick fungus filled
flowered pond
The stage through
wooden doors does stand
Where actors earn an
earnest hand
And laughter filters
through the air
A sound of joy from what
is there
VISIONS OF DREAMS
What do they mean?
The spheres of light
The five full moons
I saw at night
The path I walked
The people I saw
The crashing planets
The thought was raw
Where was I walking?
Was I being led?
Was I asleep?
This thought I dread
The people I saw
Their heads were bare
And bowed as if in
thought or prayer
Where was I going?
What did it mean?
Was I awake, or was it a
dream?
What was the vision of
Aztec Masks?
They numbered in Five
The memory still lasts
The thought of the light
That hides in the dark
The light that brings
vision
A thought I must mark
What was the message?
What did it mean?
Was I asleep?
Was it a dream?
Visions and thoughts
played out in my mind
Answers to questions I
know I must find
Who am I?
What am I?
What does this mean?
Mind visions
Light visions
Visions of Dreams
WE
We
You and Me
We are Two
We are One
We Are—We Are
US
No Fuss
Just Us
Standing Here
Standing There
US
Everywhere
We You and Me
WE
Weeeeeeeeeeee!
PACING
Pacing
Up and down
Pacing—Walking
All around
Where are you walking?
Where do you go?
Pacing—Pacing—To and
Fro
Walking round in circles
go
You keep pacing
Do you know?
Where you're going?
What you do?
Holes in carpets
Through and through
With a phone
You pace around
Where you're walking
Where you're bound
Do you know?
Do you care?
You keep pacing—pacing
Pacing there
POETRY LOST
Oh, Stupid me
I cannot see
Where you are
My poetry
I've looked around
And have not found
One simple note
Of what I wrote
A book thought lost
Under papers tossed
I could not see
Peered out at me
And in my haste
My thoughts erased
I walked right by
Where they did spy
Until a light popped in my
head
And I looked down
where my thoughts led
I reached down a tiny
nook
And there I found my
poetry book
THE BOW HAT
A woman
With a bow—a big bow
Right on top of her head
What was the thought,
that put it on top?
That big bow
That big pink bow
That display like a hat
That on her head sat
Was there a thought—Or
a bald spot on top?
Was she confused—Or
trying to amuse?
Perhaps it was there
Just to share
A look for fashion
And "Bows" her passion
Why do I care—What was
in her hair?
I don't!
I just wonder
Cause she walked right
under
The window where I sat
And saw her Big-Pink-Bow
Hat
COMPUTER HEAD
Computer Head
That's what I said
You're on there day and
night
From twelve to four
And then some more
"WHAT IS THIS, OUT OF
SPITE?"
We never talk
And rarely walk
Your presence, out of
sight!
I must conclude,
Not to be rude,
You leave that place
And show your face,
Or I must take my flight
GO SOFTLY NOW
Go softly into the night
and fly with wings an
angel's flight
Go softly, gently, Love
Until you see me from
above
Fly high and swiftly away
from me
Take my heart along with
you, Sweet Angel, into the
night
Go softly now—An
Angels Flight
