Green cloth-covered boards; gilt design on front, gilt titles on spine; text block edges untrimmed, copyright and preface pages uncut. Illustrated with facsimiles of title pages and headpieces. 8vo. . Sun-faded spine, moderately rubbed and bumped spine ends; Moderate rubbing to boards and edges. Text block edges tanned. Gutter partially cracked and stretched at title page, volume loose. Lender's stamps, bar code and markings on endpapers, prelims and spine label. Internally pages are lightly age toned at margins otherwise a neat, clean, bright and mainly tight volume. With introductory notes on the text and details of the illustrations.
