About this Item

168pp, with black and white plate illustrations. Blue cloth-covered boards eith gilt lettering and decorations. 12mo. Cloth rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Text block edges a little toned. Internally neat, clean and tight. The author recalls his boyhood experiences at home, with eight brothers in Great Rollright, Oxfordshire and at school at Winchester and at Cambridge University in the latter part of the 19th century.
