The Believer, a five-time National Magazine Award finalist, is a bimonthly literature, arts, and culture magazine. In each issue, readers will find journalism and essays that are frequently very long, book reviews that are not necessarily timely, and interviews that are intimate, frank, and also very long. There are intricate illustrations by Tony Millionaire and a rotating cast of guest artists, poems, and regular columns by Nick Hornby and Daniel Handler.

Review
The New York Times
It’s got people talking in the lofty reaches of the book world, and with its high-low mix of literary and pop-culture commentary and McSweeney's pedigree it's a magnet for younger readers.”
the San Francisco Chronicle
Focusing on the art, not the business, of writing, the Believer is smart, jaded and a bit self-indulgent, just like a good literary magazine should be.”
the Chicago Tribune
Impassioned."
the Los Angeles Times
Without a doubt, this Believer is heaven-sent.”
The Washington Post
