A RARE 1919 MODERN LIBRARY EDITION WITH DUST JACKET! The Belfry by Mary Sinclair. This is a rare Modern Library in dust jacket. First printed by The Modern Library in 1918, this is a very early 1919 reprint. Bound in blue imitation leather (spine #2) with Brodzky endpapers. The book is in very good- condition with some wear on the spine and board extremities. Solid binding, very bright gilt, beautiful blue topstain. NO owners signature, book plates or writing anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is only good with obvious loss of much of the spine and into the front board. What remains of the dust jacket is nice and bright! The list of titles on the flaps and rear panel includes those from 1919, but not 1920 indicating a 1919 printing. Now protected in an archival-quality dust jacket protector.
