Print on Demand. This book presents a series of lectures on the concept of God in Christianity, particularly as it relates to the Father and the existence of God. The author, a Christian theologian, begins by examining the concept of God as the Father, as it is presented in the creeds of the early Church. He then turns to the question of the existence of God, arguing that it is an innate idea in the human mind and that it can be proved through reason. The author also discusses the concept of the Trinity, arguing that it is a rational doctrine that can be understood through the use of reason and faith. By examining the evidence for the existence of God and exploring the nature of the Trinity, this book provides a comprehensive and engaging exploration of the Christian understanding of God. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. …

The occasion by which these lectures were called forth is stated on the first page. Their publication is due in part to the strongly urged wishes of many of the young men who heard them, and in part to considerations which it is not necessary here to explain, but among which the vanity of authorship had no part. That they may aid some minds to adjust new forms of thought to the old truth is my highest hope, and will be my best reward.
