This newly revised and expanded Fifth Edition of the "Beginning Writer's Previous owners name inside front cover. Answer Book" attempts to anticipate all the questions a writer has about creating and marketing his work. Included in this completely revised edition are questions writers most often ask the editors of "Writer's Digest" arranged under subject categories for the reader's convenience. An in-depth cross index provides additional aid in locating topics. Included in the appendix are sample manuscript pages and a query letter; a chart of the average lengths of short stories, novels, TV and radio scripts, speeches and children's books; and details on how to submit various types of manuscripts.
