A Unique, Chronological Harmony of the Pentateuch in a New Translation!
The riveting story of man's beginnings leaps off the page in this novel-like format that presents an orderly account of the Bible's most foundational and beloved stories, transforming words on paper to an encounter with the God who created the heavens and the earth. Transport yourself back to biblical times and walk with God as he steps into time and space and creates the world and his crowning creation, humans.
Witness the fall of man; Noah's building of the ark and deliverance from the flood, Abraham's demonstration of faith; and Joseph's trials and ultimate triumph in Egypt. Travel with Moses as God uses him to do the impossible and set the Israelites free from slavery in Egypt. Finally, camp out with the Israelites as they wander in the desert (learning some crucial lessons along the way) and arrive at the brink of the promised land, where Moses delivers his final sermons.
So What Exactly Is This Book?
This book is part of a unique chronological Bible series, written in a unique translation. It is a Bible that not only places events in chronological order but harmonizes them as well. Harmonization means passages that cover the same story are merged into one narrative. Although repetitive passages are combined and condensed, no information is left out; the unique details in each of the five books of Moses remain intact.
While foundational, these books of the Bible may be the hardest to read all the way through. We make it through Genesis and parts of Exodus just fine, but then comes the long section on the building of the Tabernacle; all those uncomfortable Levitical laws; and the confusion surrounding the order of events after the Israelites left Egypt. This chronological Bible attempts to present the information in a way that is both easy to read and understand.
- Have you read the first five books of the Bible multiple times and want a fresh, new way to read them?
- Do you want to read chronologically without repetitious information, with the assurance that the full story is intact and remains faithful to the Bible?
- Do you need an easy way to fit the events of Genesis through Deuteronomy together – either for yourself or to teach others?
- Do you want to read this portion of the Bible in half the time it would normally take?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this chronological Bible is for you.
The compelling origin of God's interaction with humans begins here. Now you can read it like you never have before!
