All Chloe ever wanted was a place to call home. After losing her job and her apartment in Chicago, inheriting a ramshackle bookstore in the tiny mountain town of Blue Cedar Falls feels like a sign. This is her chance to finally build a life she loves, one page at a time.
There’s just one, very large, very grumpy problem.
Logan is a local contractor with muscles in all the right places and a scowl that could curdle milk. He also owns her building, and he’s planning to sell it to a developer. He sees her as a naive city girl with a failing business that’s standing between him and his family’s financial security.
They’re oil and water, sunshine and a thundercloud. But when a plumbing disaster forces them into close quarters, their bickering ignites a white-hot tension they can’t ignore. Beneath his gruff exterior, she finds a man fiercely protective of his town and his heart. And in her, he discovers a strength and passion he never expected.
As they fight to save the bookstore, they find themselves fighting a much more dangerous battle: the one against their own hearts. But in a small town where secrets are impossible to keep, can they risk tearing down their walls to build something new?
Begin Again in Blue Cedar Falls is a steamy, standalone small town romance with a grumpy/sunshine hero, a feisty heroine, and a guaranteed happily ever after. The perfect read for fans of Lucy Score and Meghan Quinn!
