Paperback. Bradely Morgan has grown up knowing exactly what he wants: to play rugby the way his father and grandfather did, and to mean every word he says. Coraline Hughes has grown up learning the value of things --- patience, precision, the slow art of getting something exactly right. They start secondary school on the same September morning in a small Welsh town, in worlds that were never supposed to touch. A rained out lunch hour throws them into the same library table. A shared thermos of coffee becomes a Wednesday ritual neither of them names. A boy who brings daffodils for fifty pence and a girl who writes the truth in green chalk fall, slowly and carefully, into something neither of them is in a hurry to call by it's real name. But the world that made Bradley who he is --- the squad, the status, the boys who read a room before they read a person --- has never had to make space for someone like Coraline. And when that world finally notices her, what breaks isn't trust. It's time. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
