What if the Jesus you were handed on Sunday morning is only a fraction of who He actually is?
Not a different Jesus. Not a heretical Jesus. The same Jesus — but older, deeper, more ancient, more cosmic, and more magnificent than most churches have ever dared to show you.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church has read 1 Enoch as Scripture for over 1,500 years. Dead Sea Scroll 4Q521 — discovered in 1947, not published for scholarly study until the 1990s — describes the Messiah's miracles in exact language Jesus quotes in Luke 7:22. The Wisdom of Solomon scripts the mockery of the cross word for word five centuries before Golgotha. The Angel of the LORD appears sixty times in the Old Testament — speaking as God, identified as God, yet distinct from the Father — a pre-incarnate Christ walking in history before Bethlehem. Dead Sea Scroll 11Q13 identifies Melchizedek as a heavenly figure who atones for sin and executes final judgment. These texts were not lost by accident. They were set aside. This manuscript opens them.
Before Bethlehem: Tracing the Hidden Christ Through the Ancient Texts They Never Showed You traces nine ancient witnesses to the Christ that most churches have never fully shown — in nine sessions of serious theological meditation drawn entirely from primary ancient sources.
