How Can We Help Our Children Stay Encouraged, Persevere, and Keep Moving Forward?
Parents and children face challenges of all sizes in the world we live in today. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and too small to solve and overcome them. Other times we feel alone in our struggles and that there is no one to help us. Then there are times that we feel absolutely discouraged or have reached the point of giving up.
How Can We Help Our Children Stay Encouraged, Persevere, and Keep Moving Forward?
One of the best ways to do this is by example and great examples can be readily found in stories. Children love stories and have learned this way effectively for ages.
Often parents look for children’s books that are educational, but what about stories that help inspire young readers to have courage and determination regardless of the challenges they face in life.
For Sunny Bee, being truly helpful means going anywhere and everywhere. When his beautiful sunflower friend Myah becomes very ill, Sunny travels to the “far side of the hills” seeking help. Faced with a series of challenges including a raging storm, large spiders, or even the intimidating Grandfather Oak, Sunny’s dedication never wavers!
