Paperback. From Bedside to Boardroom chronicles Caroline Oloo's candid and inspiring journey as a Kenyan immigrant, Family Nurse Practitioner, and clinical operations leader. It speaks to nurses, immigrant professionals, and minority women who have questioned their belonging in professional spaces where they are fully qualified. By combining memoir, leadership insights, and financial empowerment advocacy, it offers practical guidance and heartfelt encouragement.Oloo addresses imposter syndrome, resigning from her initial director position, managing late-night professional responsibilities, and working with demanding colleagues. She also recalls a pivotal moment when a company president assured her that she did not have to shoulder responsibilities alone after years of working independently. She describes founding a pharmaceutical company in Kenya, motivated by her cousin's search for purpose and the community's need for essential medications. At 45, a significant financial awakening transformed her personal and professional trajectory. This item is printed on demand.
