Heidi Becksted is an outdoor adventurer, ultramarathoner, author and photographer who's been weaving stories and dreaming of far flung adventures since childhood. She's passionate about revealing thrilling, inspiring worlds to new readers and helping parents pass on the spirit of adventure. As a mother to three young kids, Heidi understands the power of story forming young minds and unlocking unexplored possibilities. When not writing, she spends her time scouting adventures with her sister, Erin, and trekking around the Rocky Mountains with her husband and three young children in search of the bluest water, most picturesque campsite and hottest hot springs.

Erin Windauer is a lifelong adventurer, filled with curiosity and love of discovery. She developed an early appreciation for natural color, texture, and form through a childhood lived outdoors, and aims to share the joy of the wild through graphite, paint, and print. Her work has previously been available only in stationary and frameable art, and she is thrilled to be painting for a new audience-the next generation of adventurers. When not painting or writing, Erin can often be found with her sister, Heidi, scheming about their next project or excursion in the hills.
