A very good full leather binding. 8vo. pp.viii/pp.144 + 60 coloured plates (all with tissue guards). Green calf with elaborate gilt border. Front board with gilt initials "W F H". Edges rubbed and bumped. Carefully re-cased, preserving most of the origianal spine. Gilt titles and dulled gilt decoration to spine. All page edges bright gilt. marbled endpapers. Inner hinges carefully strengthened. Clean text and illustrations throughout, except for light foxing to the Index. VG.
