This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Beatrix Potter: Complete Works presents a rich tapestry of imagination, merging whimsical storytelling with exquisite illustrations that have captivated readers for generations. This anthology encompasses Potter's beloved tales, including the iconic 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit' and 'The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck,' showcasing her signature blend of anthropomorphism and pastoral realism. With an artistic style that beautifully parallels the themes of nature and rural life, Potter's works not only entertain but also impart subtle moral lessons, reflecting the Victorian ethos that emphasizes a connection to the natural world while critiquing societal norms. Beatrix Potter (1866-1943), an English writer and illustrator, was deeply influenced by her childhood experiences exploring the countryside and observing wildlife. Her upbringing in a Victorian household fostered a love for nature and art, leading her to become a pioneering figure in children's literature. Potter's meticulous attention to detail, both in storytelling and illustration, stems from her academic pursuits in the natural sciences and her passionate activism for conservation, particularly in the Lake District, where she became a successful farmer and landowner. This comprehensive collection is an indispensable resource for both children and adults. It invites readers to rediscover the poetic simplicity and ecological themes that characterize Potter's oeuvre. From timeless morals to enchanting illustrations, 'Beatrix Potter: Complete Works' is a tribute to an author whose work continues to resonate, making this edition a cherished addition to any literary library. 484 pp. Englisch.…
