- Book 1 of 4: The Insurance Ambassador - musings, thoughts, predictions & stories from 30 years in insurance.
HINT: YOU COULD PROBABLY RETIRE ON THAT MUCH MONEY!True story. Recently, insurance industry expert (and insurance agency owner) Jeff Arnold had a shocking revelation: In less than 20 years, he was on his way to paying out nearly half a million dollars for life, home, vehicle, health, and umbrella insurance. He realized that was enough money to buy a home plus furnishings, two cars, vacations, and college education for his kids. That’s also when he knew enough was enough. It was time to show America exactly how to beat your insurance company—once and for all.
Insurance is an amazing invention. In a world where bad things happen, you get to protect against personal, property, and financial ruin. But when you’re paying out hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, you have to ask yourself these questions:
• Why you may need a particular insurance policy;
• What specific policies (or specific coverage) you need right now;
• When you may need a particular policy—circumstances change in people’s lives;
• How much financial (or medical) coverage you actually need;
• Whether you may need a particular policy at all; and
• How much you want to pay—not all insurance policies are the same, so it may be time to shop around.
Jeff Arnold tackles all the many different kinds of insurance available, explains what each one is, what it covers, the details of that coverage, and then offers up his insider tips to get the best deal for what you want to pay. He dishes secrets so you can spend less and get much better coverage. He even gives you tips on how to negotiate with your agent and agency.Let’s face it: You need insurance. But getting the right policies with the right coverage at the right price for your lifestyle is key.In this very readable (and very funny) book, best-selling author and insurance insider Jeff Arnold leads you through life insurance, health insurance, auto insurance, annuities, and so much more, helping you make the right choices in your coverage, and in the end, shows you How to Beat Your Insurance Company.
