Beachmaster is the story of a one ton Stellers sea lion that escapes from a major public aquarium off the coast of Connecticut. His name is Goliath and there is one thing on his mind: find a female to mate. Ben Harrington, the Curator and Ronnie Semanski, his aquarist and romantic interest are determined to rescue Goliath from some who want him dead because of the destruction and deaths he causes in his vain attempt to find a mate. Unfortunately, Stellers only inhabit the west coast.To complicate matters, a psychopath masking as an animal activist threatens Ben and Ronnie as well as Goliath in his attempts to get revenge under the guise of saving the animals.

John Benjamin Sciarra is the former Curator at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut and recently retired from Pfizer Global Research and Development, Worldwide Comparative Medicine Department as the Zebrafish Expert. Sciarra has over 40 years working with marine animals, invertebrates and fish, designed numerous animal exhibits across the United States, and participated in many research projects. He is also the author of four YA novels, two adult adventure novels and a novella. Sciarra has one several awards for his writing.
