From the Author
In The Battle We Fight, I try to reach out to what I call the young hopefuls. Though this book may at first seem to be what we call a gun book, it's more about the reality of why honest people must be in possession of the power and not the dishonest who use good people. This book is written more toward the realities new hopefuls face as their lives change and how this kind of authority figures in those lives and thereby the lives of others. In this, an entire nation can recapture its power, authority and security over itself as it should.
These young hopefuls are the individuals who have come through yet another life change, and whose sense of values has changed with it, events such as marriage, a new baby, coming of age to vote – life changes that impel an individual to re-think self-interest as priorities change. These are some of the people who substantially changed the tide in our own 2004 Presidential Election, and who will ultimately not become or replace the present generation as one might at first think, but who join the present generation in agreement on those values they once mocked as youths.
As this overall concept applies to our friends in the United Kingdom, the U.K. had taken recently an unnecessary wrong turn in banning guns, and is coming to appreciate now realities in just why the United States fights so to keep this right.
All of the offensive bad taste in art, poor etiquette, undermining of education priorities and so much more are all interconnected within a nation which, it is believed, will not fight back. When we've had enough, we do fight back. and often at greater cost. In England, the banning of guns would make it impossible to carry out the simple plan found in this book, if not for the argument to restore to subjects the right of self-defence, and the truth that individuals can protect themselves better than reliance on a call for aid.
In both America and the United Kingdom, law enforcement has never had a mandate to protect individuals. Also, it simply isn't workable, anyway. This is the reality every person in any nation must see. Combine this with the fact that criminals don't obey laws, and you have the formula for the situation that exists now, one which was entirely foreseeable. It interferes with the national spirit and net productivity. This benefits only officials.
In America, more than half the states of the Union recognize the right to carry concealed weapons; in those non-carry states (where it is needed most), it is frustrated the most, and crime continues more there than in the right to carry states. The record of the right to carry states is an excellent model. The call is for Nationwide Concealed Carry. Now!
The keeping and bearing of arms throughout England must be restored, so that the present condition of rampant, un-resisted violent crime can pass into history, and, historically, become an important lesson to read. In England, the call must be..Nationwide Concealed Carry. Here! Now!
