Basics of Islam - Practical Knowledge of Istinjaa, Wudhu, Ghusal and Salaah
Including the Sunnats of Our Beloved Nabi Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
A strong Islamic foundation begins with learning and practicing the essential acts of worship correctly. Every Muslim child should understand the basic principles of cleanliness, purification, prayer, and the beautiful Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). These teachings form the basis of a Muslim's daily life and help develop love for Islam from an early age.
Basics of Islam has been specially prepared for Maktab students and young learners to provide practical guidance on the fundamental aspects of Islamic worship and daily living. Written in a simple, clear, and easy-to-understand format, this colour edition helps children learn the essential rulings and practices required in their everyday lives.
The book provides practical instruction on Istinjaa, Wudhu, Ghusal, Azaan, and Salaah, enabling students to understand the correct method of purification and prayer according to Islamic teachings. Step-by-step explanations help learners gain confidence in performing these important acts of worship properly and consistently.
In addition to practical worship, the book introduces students to the beautiful Sunnah practices of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). These Sunnahs teach children how to incorporate Islamic manners and etiquette into every aspect of their daily lives, transforming ordinary actions into acts of reward and obedience.
Readers will learn the Sunnahs related to using the toilet, eating, drinking, sleeping, waking up, wearing clothing, behaviour within the home, and many other daily practices. By following these Sunnahs, young Muslims can develop good habits, strengthen their Islamic identity, and increase their love for Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
This book is an excellent resource for Maktabs, madrasahs, Islamic schools, homeschooling families, teachers, parents, and students seeking a practical introduction to the essentials of Islam. The combination of worship, cleanliness, daily etiquette, and Sunnah practices makes it a valuable guide for nurturing Islamic character and establishing good habits from childhood.
