About the Author: Fiona Grist has been a dental nurse for many years and is currently the Senior Orthodontic Nurse in the Maxillofacial Unit at Worthing Hospital. Her interests include the care pathways for multi-disciplinary cases, the team management of babies and children with Cleft-Lip and palate and the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea patients. She also works in specialist private practice. She is a founding member and current Vice President of the Orthodontic National Group for Dental Nurses and Therapists, and has written many articles for a variety of dental publications.
