Yet when chess revived after the second World War Fine was too busy with his studies to accept an invitation to the World Championship tournament of 1948. After AVRO 1938. Fine concentrated on writing chess books. Altogether he wrote more than a dozen works. (Golombek: 116p) Condition: Previous owner's name to front end paper.
