No date, c.1901. xi, 488pp. Colour frontspiece and 8 B&W illustrations. "Barnaby Rudge was the fifth of Dickens' novels to be published. It had originally been planned to appear as his first, but changes of publisher led to many delays, and it first appeared in serial form in the Clock from February to November 1841". Book has gilt titles and decorations to spine. Light wear to edges and corners with few bumps front edges of boards, some minor loss of cloth. Two tiny holes to bottom of front hinge. Slight foxing to edges. Mild foxing and light browning to end papers. Otherwise, pages and contents are in vg condition with no inscriptions. Seller Inventory # LitDickens11
