Not ex library. 306 pages. Clean, tight, and square. Purple and white cover, originally solid purple borders speckled, spine faded. Spine worn at ends. Binding includes both glue and somewhat rusted staples; front cover has torn loose from glue spots which leaked inside the hinges--the only way it can open fully. Glue attaching the spine is firm. "Bishop Brown's defense, vol. VII." On the first page (before the title page), Brown declares the Gospel of orthodox Communism superior to the Gospel of orthodox Christianism.
