Synopsis:
Bake up some treats-and some tasty lessons for very young chefs. Cooking teaches important skills in a fun way: as kids weigh, measure, mix, spoon, and spread ingredients, they're also learning their numbers, shapes, and colors, and developing manual dexterity. Plus, children love serving up food they've made themselves, and these 50 simple, easy-to-follow recipes are delicious enough to please everyone. With a little help from an adult, youngsters can create Alphabet Cookies, Cheeky Monkey Banana Treats, Dotty Brownies, and more. Special sections provide advice on what children can manage at various ages, and give the basics of kitchen safety.
