Parenting isn’t broken, but how we’re doing it might be.
What if the solutions we trust to help our kids are making things worse?
In Bad Therapy, Broken Kids, psychologist Jennifer R. Greger uncovers the unsettling truths behind the alarming rise in mental health struggles among today’s children and teens. With her signature straightforward and compassionate writing style, Greger offers a deeply insightful look into the modern pressures kids face—and how misguided parenting and ineffective therapy are contributing to the crisis.
In this eye-opening book, you’ll discover:
- The Overparenting Trap: How well-meaning efforts to protect children have unintentionally stunted their independence, resilience, and ability to face life’s challenges.
- The Silent Disruptors: The profound impact of screen time and social media on children’s mental health, relationships, and sense of self.
- The Therapy Industry Exposed: Why quick fixes like overdiagnosis, overprescription, and superficial counseling often fail to address the root causes of kids’ struggles.
- Parenting in a Fear-Driven World: How today’s culture of fear has shaped parenting practices, leaving kids less prepared to navigate life on their own.
- Solutions That Work: Practical, evidence-based strategies for empowering children, fostering resilience, and balancing technology use with real-life experiences.
Greger doesn’t just highlight the problems—she offers hope and actionable advice to help parents, educators, and communities create a healthier, happier future for the next generation. With real-life stories, relatable examples, and science-backed insights, Bad Therapy, Broken Kids is an essential guide for anyone who cares about the well-being of today’s youth.
Bonus Gift for Parents: As a special addition, this book includes a Self-Care Planner for Parents, a practical tool to help you prioritize your mental and emotional well-being. Because when parents thrive, their kids do too.
This is more than just a book—it’s a call to action. Our kids can’t wait. They need us to be better, and this book will show you how to start.
Get your copy today and join the movement to raise a stronger, healthier generation. Your child’s future begins with the choices you make now.
