nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - 'Bad Rhymes No Reason' details Simon Charles Barton's post-stroke journey over an 8-10-year period through a series of quite random, risible, rhyming reflections. Simon chronicles his ultimate pursuit for the discovery of a new self and life-purpose, taking readers on a light-hearted and self-poking examination of the joy's and pitfalls of the healing process. Featuring more than 50 original poems, 'Bad Rhymes No Reason' examines such themes as navigating family discussions post-stroke in 'Reticence,' the necessity of nurses in 'Angels,' and self-renewal in'Reinvention.' Throughout, Simon delights readers with whimsical rhymes and heartfelt messages. Part poetry, part biography, part memoir - 'Bad Rhymes No Reason' reminds us of the people, places and poems which are integral to each of our own healing processes.

About the Author
Sarah Constance Hardy was born in Raleigh, NC in 1990. At age four, she was diagnosed as mildly autistic, and her parents were told that she would never function as a normal child. Her parents told her she was very artistic and gave her art lessons and home-schooled her from age twelve onward. At a young age she had a strong interest in dragons, unicorns, and other fantasy creatures from reading books and watching movies. At age fifteen, she started writing stories and created a world where all her favorite magical creatures lived together in harmony. She has now written, illustrated and published two original books -The Silver Winged Dragon in 2011 and The Unicorn and The Pegasus in 2020.
