Folds down into cloth covers measuring 6 3/4" by 3 7/8". Black decorative border to front board. Title on front board: "The World". Blind-stamped border to rear board. Two small sections only of the coast of Antarctica are shown, with half a dozen locations named, including Mt. Erebus and Mt. Terror in South Victoria (Mt. Erebus was discovered in 1841).
