How to raise meat rabbits properly without feeling like a rookie.
Tired of paying a fortune-and-a-half for store-bought meat?
Thought about raising rabbits for food, but afraid it might be too difficult?
Looking for the definitive guide to building your own meat rabbitry?
If you’re thinking of breeding rabbits for meat but don’t know how to start, this guide may be the only resource you ever need.
Because even if you spend hours researching and taking in all the information you can find… there’s a fair chance you might not feel confident enough about the basics to actually take the first step. And that’s totally understandable.
After all, there are only so many different methods and techniques for raising rabbits that you can read about before it all blurs into a cloud of confusion.
Not to mention how intimidating it can all sound once you start to get into topics like picking appropriate cages and knowing what to feed your rabbits.
Now, if you’ve already done a bit of digging, you may have come across a few myths about raising rabbits for meat.
Like the idea that you need to have tons of space to house them.
Or that rabbits are hard to breed.
Or that there’s no one “right” way to raise rabbits.
The ugly truth is that much of what you read and watch on the internet about raising rabbits comes from people who aren’t that much more knowledgeable than you.
Which is why some breeders stop trying to raise meat rabbits only a few months after they’ve started. Because figuring out how to raise rabbits properly without making expensive mistakes is almost impossible if you’ve never done it before.
And that’s what this book is for — to give you a straightforward approach to raising rabbits for meat that actually works.
In this book, you’ll discover:
- The first thing you should consider before you even think about buying a rabbit cage
- The 7 most common predators to protect your rabbits from
- The 3 categories of rabbit breeds, and how they differ from one another
- What to do if your rabbits aren’t breeding as fast as they should
- The best rabbit breeds to use for meat
- The 3-point method for handling rabbits the right way
- What you should and shouldn’t feed your rabbits to keep them healthy — avoid these types of foods
- Why it’s a bad idea to cross-breed wild rabbits with domestic rabbits
- How to humanely dispatch a rabbit in 6 simple steps
- 10 appetizing recipes that will deliciously change the way you think about rabbit meat
And much more!
This is more than a book about breeding meat rabbits.
It’s a guide to becoming more self-sufficient… and growing your appreciation for the value of food.
And the best part is you don’t have to be a hardcore homesteader to start your own rabbitry.
Because all the content you’ll find in these pages has been written specifically for beginners.
So even if you’ve never looked after an animal before, you can quickly master the art of raising rabbits for meat.
