AN EXPLORATION OF LATINO CULTURE THROUGH CUISINE
Firstly, I'd like to voice my appreciation to Amazon.com to provide a forum in which to communicate to our readers.

As the co-author of "Babalu!", we sought to explore our culture through our cuisine. One of our first signs of affection in a Latin home is through food. It is prepared with such love. We hope those sentiments trancended these pages.

Our other goal was to educate the Spanish-speakign community on breast cancer awarenes. The Latino community has one of the largest fatality rates of this disease because of several stigmas that exist among Latina women. We hope to dispel some of those myths. We donate a percentage of proceeds to the National Allaince of Breast Cancer Organizations.
