Octavo. 3rd printing. signed by the author, 128 pages with 1276 button entries, color frontispiece, together with the three supplements, # I: 32 pages. # II: 51 pages, and # III: 79 pages with four pages with names of the major buttons. In addition, this collection has the rare pamphlet "Helpful Hints for Button Collecting", 4 pages; a general introduction to the beginning collector noting some of the earliest buttons in Colonial America, little porcelains, and those from the Victorian age. Bound in blue cloth lettered and decorated in gilt, spine lettering gilt, gold decorative endpapers, edges rubbed, in dust jacket lettered and decorated in blue, corners and spine ends rubbed or chipped, a few small, closed edge tears and one large, closed tear to upper portion of front panel. A very good copy. First supplement staple bound in light blue paper wraps lettered and decorated in gilt, supplement two staple bound in dark blue lettered and decorated in gilt and supplement three staple bound in maroon paper wraps lettered and decorated in silver.
