23 pages.31 x 23 cm. Large-format promotional pamphlet issued to promote real estate investment and land development for pecan cultivation. A product of the early twentieth-century pecan boom across the American South, the publication extols the advantages of the Yazoo Valley region of the Mississippi Delta - its warm climate, fertile bottomlands, and abundant tracts suitable for orchard planing - as prime territory for profitable pecan production. Heavily illustrated with black-and-white photographs, the booklet features testimonials, as well as excerpts from newspapers and magazine, all designed to encourage investment in root-grafted paper-shell pecan farming. Interior clean and crisp; covers lightly soiled along verso edges with one small closed tear. Tan illustrated wraps. Very good.
