What if the greatest spiritual struggle is not whether we are following Jesus—but whether we are keeping pace with Him?
In The Bubble of Surrender, Dr. Rich Johnson offers a warm, practical, and often humorous picture of the surrendered Christian life. The “bubble” is not a theological formula or a place where life becomes easy. It is the place of yielded fellowship where we stay close to Jesus, listen for His leading, and learn to move at His pace. The Bubble of Surrender
Some of us tend to run ahead of God, trying to force good ideas, opportunities, ministries, or dreams into being before their time. Others lag behind because of fear, uncertainty, or the desire for one more sign. Still other seasons call us simply to wait while the cloud stays still. Through Scripture, personal stories, gentle humor, and practical reflection, Pastor Rich explores what it means to surrender everyone and everything, remain in Christ, recognize His voice, follow when He moves, wait when He waits, and trust Him even in the wilderness. The Bubble of Surrender The Bubble of Surrender
This is not a book about getting everything right. It is about staying close enough to Jesus that when we get out of step, we can hear Him calling us back. The goal is not to move faster or slower.
The goal is to keep pace with Jesus.
