Ravenna has lived with blood on her hands and fire beneath her skin. In a kingdom where witches are executed and magic is a curse, survival means silence. But when she’s forced into a political betrothal and her power begins to slip, she knows it’s only a matter of time before the flames consume her.
Then comes Finn.
A ghost in the Order’s ranks. Their deadliest weapon. He was never meant to feel, never meant to falter—but from the moment he sees her, something breaks. She’s not his target. She’s a mirror. A threat. A tether he never asked for but can’t sever.
When their bond erupts in the heat of battle, it marks them both. Hunted by the crown, betrayed by their own, and bound by a prophecy soaked in blood, Finn and Ravenna must choose whether to run from what ties them together—or let it burn the world around them.
Love was never part of the plan.
But some bonds go deeper than fate.
Violent, sensual, and haunting, Bound by Shadows is a dark romantic fantasy about monsters made by men, magic that cannot be silenced, and a love that was never meant to survive—but refuses to die.
K.M Simon is a fantasy author, military wife, and a mum of three, which means she runs on chaos, imagination, and the occasional moment of peace to write. She loves weaving stories filled with magic, slow-burn romance and rebellious hearts. When she’s not wrangling kids or characters, she’s curled up with a good book. Bound by Shadows is her debut novel and the start of an epic adventure.
