Bound in contemporary full gilt leather, worn, covers with gilt decoration. Some pages standing proud, all page edges gilt, one corner Gg4 has the corner torn off with a few letters missing. Provenance: the name 'Hodges' stamped to the title page and end papers. Approximately 8 and a half inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine fair condition worn, no titles, gilt decorated, rubbed, faded and worn with minor loss. Joints fair condition worn and rubbed, splitting but intact. Corners fair condition worn and rubbed. Boards good condition decorated in gilt, marked, worn and scratched. Page edges fair condition tanned and marked, pages standing proud. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound. Paste downs good condition marbled. End papers good condition marbled, subsequently annotated by previous owner to the front. Title good condition - tanned and foxed. Pages fair condition - tanned and foxed, a few pages stading proud, worn with loss to the fore edge and the top of the page (see photos).
