Reprint (originally published by Doubleday). xii, 370, [2] pages. Hardcover: H 19.25cm x L 13.25cm. Dust jacket with wraparound color pictorial illustration by Morgan Stinemetz; dj well rubbed with some creasing, tears, and wear at edges. Light brown boards; mild bumping to spine heel and front board's top fore-edge corner. Slender stain to fore-edge affecting several leaves at their margins; past owner's ink initials on front free endpaper along with pencil note "12-15-31" which may well be a more accurate date for this Grosset reprint; interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm.
