This 230 pp. indexed book includes 2 photo sections. It is about the world and magic show of Harry Blackstone Sr., from 1885 - 1965, with first hand accounts by 2 of his principal assistants. The book looks very nice, and the jacket would rate NEAR FINE, except for a 2" area near the front top right, where part of the clear lamination was abraided. It in no way affects the cover art or lettering, AND on the rear top edge (again affecting no picture or wording) is a 2" slightly roughened area, where apparently a sticker had been. The book itself internally is clean and pristine except the last blank page shows the partial remains of a pocket. This book apparently was briefly in a library, as the only other sign is a 2-1/2" long black mark on the top of the page edges (as seen when the book is closed). In picturing this offering, don't picture an old beat up library book. This is near perfect inside and out, and looks quite nice.
