Neuware - In this collection of supernatural narratives by Lee Arthur Hanson, the author explores themes of destiny and mortality through the eyes of 'average' people. The central and most extensive story follows Bill Morgan, an elderly researcher who discovers a mystical crystal ball that displays the obituaries of living individuals precisely thirteen days before they die. Alongside a small circle of confidants, Bill evolves from a passive observer into a guardian of fate, using these prophetic visions to intervene in accidents and crimes. Other stories in the volume depict a man witnessing a ghostly reenactment of a neighbor's tragic death and an elderly woman's fatal encounter with alien creatures hatched from exotic fruit. Collectively, these tales examine the ethical weight of foresight and the quiet heroism found in protecting others from impending doom.
