It is also the first detailed examination of a true survivor, his book collection of some 5600 items, including medieval manuscripts, incunables, books on ecclesiastical history and primitive church rites and rituals, philology, bibliography, science, travel, and Arabic and Persian texts. The contents cover Shoults's early years at St. John's College, Cambridge University, his work in some of the poorer ritualistic parishes of London, his association with the Rev. Joseph Leycester Lyne (1837-1908), the controversial, enthusiastic, revivalist known as 'Father Ignatius', his work on Latin hymns, his marriage, and his travel overseas, which included visiting the Vatican Library. After Shoults's death at 48, his collection was gifted to Selwyn College, Dunedin, arriving in New Zealand in 1893. Change of mind returns can be initiated within 30 days. Return shipping in these cases is the customer’s expense. A full refund of the item price will be payable provided the item is received in the same condition it was sent out in. Shipping costs will not be refunded for change of mind returns. This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been used or damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product, or if they have been dropped or broken. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft, or damaged goods during transit & therefore we advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. The Book Merchant Jenkins will not be responsible for return parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

Most orders within Australia should arrive within 2-7 business days, or express within 1-2 days.
Most international orders should arrive within 7-14 business days, longer to some remote areas, and can take up to 45 days.
International Express should arrive 3-7 days.

If it has been longer than 10 business days for Australian deliveries or 20 business days for International deliveries and you have not received your order, email us. Your parcel may be delayed in customs, or awaiting collection at your local post office.

In the extremely rare case a package is missing a replacement or full refund will be issued.
