Magic always demands a price… and some choices can never be undone.
Mark survived his first Winter Trials, but life is far from returning to normal. The world of witches is larger, darker and far more dangerous than he ever imagined. As his powers grow stronger, so do the secrets surrounding him — and the people he loves.
After everything that happened with Damian, Mark is still trying to understand his place in a world filled with ancient magic, hidden enemies and forces beyond his control. But strange dreams and unsettling visions suggest something is changing. Something is awakening.
As dark powers begin to stir and danger creeps closer, Mark and his friends find themselves caught in a battle they barely understand. Old truths are challenged, new alliances are formed, and Mark will discover that destiny isn't always a gift.
Because awakening magic is one thing.
Awakening something far older may destroy them all.
Perfect for fans of LGBTQ+ urban fantasy, found family, slow-burn romance, witchcraft and magical adventures full of heart, danger and mystery.
Awaken is the spellbinding second instalment in the bestselling Northern Witch series.

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
