It is time to expand our perception of leadership beyond the culturally accepted idea that only a select few are called as leaders.
In God's eyes, leadership is not about title or position but about recognizing that you are already in a leadership role regardless of position or career. Leadership is not just for select individuals but for anyone willing to allow God to awaken the leadership skills within them.
The Old Testament prophet Nehemiah taught that no one was excluded from leadership. He poured his leadership into those around him, teaching Situational, Relational, and Spiritual concepts that are still relevant today-showing us that we too can lead through everyday issues.
Awaken the Leader Within You seeks to unlock your potential and empower you to become the leader God created you to be. Learn to lead confidently through each and every circumstance in your life while living and serving Him exactly where you are.
"Barbara is well-known ... for her ability to organize and pilot high-functioning teams." -Van Collins, President and CEO, American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Washington
"Barb stretches the reader to ... become the leader that God is asking for us to be ..." -Keith Hamilton, President, Alaska Christian College
