nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Every life is built upon inherited certainties. We inherit our definitions of beauty, our understanding of love, our language for grief, our notions of identity, devotion, memory, ambition, and loss. Rarely do we stop to ask whether these beliefs were ever true, or merely repeated often enough to become familiar. This collection inhabits that uncertainty.Through a series of philosophically driven poems, ordinary ideas are dismantled and reconstructed into stranger forms. Love becomes appetite. Beauty becomes tradition. Memory becomes invention. Devotion becomes expenditure. Across these pages, familiar metaphors are overturned, accepted truths are quietly interrogated, and language is stretched toward the edges of what it can contain.Written in conversation with the metaphysical tradition while remaining distinctly contemporary in thought, these poems ask not what it means to love, to remember, to become, or to endure, but whether those questions themselves have been imperfectly imagined. This is a collection for readers who believe poetry is not merely meant to be read, but revisited. For those willing to linger over a single stanza, to question what once seemed self-evident, and to discover that the deepest revelations often arrive disguised as the dismantling of an old certainty. Some books offer answers. This one offers better questions.…
