He also was an Instructional Designer (Senior Project Engineer) for all of General Motors' diesel engine and fuel system technical training programs, a GM Truck and Bus Technical Instructor District Service Manager for Buick Motor Division of GM Corp, Technical Instructor for FIAT LANCIA of North America, and Technical Instructor for Volkswagen.

Dr. Kershaw is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in 20 different repair areas, including Certified Master Automotive Technician, Certified Master Truck Technician, Certified Electronic Diesel Engine Specialist (L2), and Certified Automotive Advanced Engine Performance (L1). He is a member of "Who's Who Worldwide" in the "Who's Who Registry of Business Leaders" and a member of "Who's Who in American Universities." Dr. Kershaw is also a Certified Master Trainer and the author of over 15 GM technical training publications.

Dr. Kershaw has also authored the following books: "Automotive Electrical and Electronic Systems," 5th Edition, 2004; "Manual Drive Train & Rear Axle Systems," 1st Edition, 2004; "Automotive Steering Suspension & Wheel Alignment," 3rd Edition, 2004; and "Diesel Engine Electrical & Electronic Systems," 1st Edition, 2004.

Dr. Kershaw was a policy contributor on the School-toWork Opportunities Act, a consultant on the Development of Integrated Curriculum Standards for the Center for OccupationalResearch and Development (CORD), a member of the 1994 National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) Medium/Heavy Truck Standards Review and Revision Committee, and a member of the 1996 NATEF Automotive Standards Review and Revision Committee.
