~ ~ ~ "Dear Senator, I do not quite understand what you require, for your letter is so expansive that it covers numerous books. I expect you intend to confine your self to the principles of government as worked out in this country. I send you my latest publication which contains comparisons between our Canadian & the American principles of government. The bibliography at the close will show you the books written on the subject. In the Royal Society Transactions for 1890, Volume III you will see another work "Canadian Studies in Comparative Politics" witch may of be of service. You have it of course in your library. Since you as Senator receive copies of the Transactions.
