Ex-library bound in contemorary binding (358 pages) illustrated with 14 plates (all present). Jack Ketch was English public executioner for King Charles II and King James II. Boards show rubbing/scuffing on spine - usual library markings with with library card sleeve and due date slip inside rear board - frontispiece is detached and damaged at edge - moderate foxing throughout - minor tears at edge of a few pages - would rate a good reading copy.
